Elder Diaries is dedicated to honoring elderhood through images and story. The site was conceived and designed by Steven Sprung, who is currently the editor and publisher.
Elder Diaries was created on January 20, 2019 at 9:31pm PST, during a full lunar eclipse, also known as a blood moon. The site was born out of a realization that a full appreciation of the rich life-experience of our elders is often eclipsed by our culture’s obsession with the beauty and vitality of youth.
